The Kestrel QD is where traditional leather craftsmanship meets modern retention engineering. Tagua engineered this holster for shooters who want the comfort and look of premium leather but refuse to compromise on the kind of mechanical retention normally found only on duty-grade Kydex rigs. The trigger-guard lock-retention system delivers positive, audible engagement when holstering and releases with a fast, intuitive quick-draw motion under stress.
Premium full-grain leather construction with reinforced double-stitching holds the holster's shape through thousands of draw-and-reholster cycles. An extra back-tag protection panel adds a comfort barrier between the lock-retention hardware and your body during all-day carry. The rotating cant angle lets you dial in the exact ride and draw geometry that matches your body and carry position — neutral, forward, or FBI cant. Optic-ready cut clears most popular slide-mounted red dots (Holosun, Trijicon RMR, Sig Romeo Zero), keeping the Kestrel QD compatible with modern carry guns.
